A Dance Among The StarsA Dance Among The Stars
The night had been perfect.
Ryo had made sure that everything went off without a hitch for his date with his girlfriend, Rosa. Mia and the other Ronins had pulled every string, called in every favor and personal connection to help set up for a perfect evening. And now for the final part of the night, the grand finale to a perfect romantic date on Valentine’s Day. When Rosa had explained that in the States, Valentine’s was more of a day for couples and romance than simply confessing love, Ryo had decided to sweep his girlfriend off her feet by giving her a perfect night. And he already knew how to do it.
The final part of the date was here. After a wonderful, romantic dinner in Tokyo, Ryo had taken the American girl on a walk through a nearby park. It was a good thing that the weather had been warm the past few days, allowing them to enjoy the night and the park scenery without concerns about the cold of February. It was while they were admiri
RW: DistillCye knew something was up the moment he opened his eyes. Partly because he was staring at himself, but mostly because he knew he had never owned a mirror that big, little lone planted it on the ceiling above a four-poster bed, and certainly he had never owned a four-poster bed in the first place.
Also because he was sharing it with a ghost.
Suzunagi hadn't woken yet, thankfully. His brain wasn't catching up with the rest of the world just yet, he was sure. Yesterday he had gone to bed after a small celebration; Mia and the guys-- and by proxy, their spouses-- had come down for his birthday, he had just turned twenty-one. He'd made sure his mother was well as she could be before retiring to his futon early, shooing his guests out and on their way to their resting-house. He had to open the shop the next morning.
This room didn't look like his. The bed was four-poster in the way four-poster beds aught to be, but each post was a European lamp post, candles installed and all. There was a se
Summer Contest Entry - Choices
Moonlight washed over the Hagi beach, dancing along lazy waves making their way to shore and back out in elegant, languid sweeps. No one was out at this time of night: given how small of a town Hagi was that was no surprise to the young man appearing and disappearing from the pools of light cast by beach homes and the odd streetlight as he walked along.
Shin was thankful for the solitude, as he was most nights he spent with the waves and sand. He checked his phone again, frowning at the text message glowing in soft pixels, the white screen illuminating him like a ghost before he dropped it back into his jeans.
There were times, many times, he wished he were someone else.
He often walked this path, past the small houses and ambitious resort hotels squatting possessively on their share of beach, down the quiet road that led to the old Mouri clan castle ruins.
He drifted along the same street without thinking tonight, the summer night sky bright with stars untouched by big city haze, a sl
RW: Yulie: RegretIn the end, they drift. Like the tides. The wind. Ashes, fallen stones; rays of sunlight.
Just a little.
Yulie watches it happen with the silence and dignity that all old warriors like they deserve. Because they are old warriors, where it matters. In the heart and mind, if not the body.
Even if the country doesn't notice. Even if no one remembers. They've earned it; he knows that.
So he doesn't expect them to show when his parents are killed, and he's not at all disappointed when they don't. They've their own lives to live.
He's sixteen when it happens; burglary gone bad. He isn't even home at the time. He finds out about it in the news on the way; after school, like everyone else who knows. He doesn't want to be a burden, after; Yamano isn't an old name, though, not a traditional one, and so no one believes he can take care of himself. He's only sixteen. In the old days, or the Dynasty, that would have been enough.
Society says he's a child until he's twenty-something. He
RW You Found Me Ch. 5Chapter 5: The Stake Out
The guys got out around five in the afternoon, the same day they visited Takanori in the hospital. Three of them staked out the park Takanori was found unconscious in while the other two kept an eye on the hospital atop the roof.
Cye, Sage, and Kento hid in tall trees to be able to scope out the area better.
For two hours all they saw were civilians walking, sitting on benches, jogging, or playing fetch with their dogs.
Then, out of nowhere, the three Ronin’s were thrown harshly out of their hiding spots, sliding ten feet to a halt on the ground.
For a few seconds they were in a daze until they heard an evil laughter coming from above them, floating twenty feet in the air.
Looking up furious, hearing the civilians around them scream and run out of harm’s way, Sage rose his voice for the demon to hear. “We figured you’d show up again! But seeing that you knew we were hiding in the trees, you were here the whole time.”
From another world - Chapter 1: The flying saiNone of them were apparently destined to meet. They were all moving in different social circles and had different friends. And yet, an extraordinaire event will bring them together.
It all started by a beautiful Sunday morning. Having being apart for some time by their own different agendas, the Samurai Troopers decided to meet and spend some time together. They agreed to meet where they first met and to figure out their plans for the day there. The meeting was set for 11:00am.
Ryo was the first one to arrive. He looked around him, searching for a familiar face among the crowd. That's when he suddenly felt someone heavy jumped on his back, screaming. He tried to keep his balance and just before he felt his legs failing him, the weight was gone, followed by a laugh.
"Haha! Got you there, Ryo," said Shuu.
"Man, Shuu, you could have broken my back with all the extra weight you've gained," replied the red warrior with a grin.
"Hey! I didn't gain anything," shouted Shuu before taking a bite
Welcome to Yoroiden-Lore! This is a Group particularly dedicated to Ronin Warrior/Yoroiden Samurai Trooper fan fiction and fan comics, as well as showcasing your art and Ronin OCs! We're small now, but we're hoping to get a few more deviants and deviations - so come on in, look around, and contribute if you've a mind to!
And now, just a few guidelines for submitting your work to the group.
For now, all members are allowed ten submissions per week. This is likely to change as the galleries fill up, so be alert.
Please submit all deviations to the appropriate Gallery. Please note that in the Fan Art galleries, the Japanese name of the character is listed first and the American name second. Please avoid submitting pictures of American Anubis to Japanese Anubis' Gallery!
Mature deviations are allowed at this time, but please use common sense and apply the appropriate filters. Also keep dA's ToS in mind - if it doesn't belong on dA, it doesn't belong here.
'Anti' art or character hate pieces are not allowed.
Recolors, traces, and bases are NOT allowed. This is especially important for the Fan Character folder, but applies to all areas. Screencaps and demotivational posters are also not permitted.
You may not resubmit a previously rejected piece.
Only finished works in the main Galleries please! Sketches and WIPs have their own folder and should be placed there.
Please respect your fellow deviants! You are not required to comment, but if you choose to please do so with consideration.
If you have other questions, feel free to send a Note!
Here are some model sheets for the armors found in the TV series.
